Distraction

“Owww!”

“Oh, don’t take on so!”

“But d’it hurts, master!”

“I can see that, Much,” Robin grimaced, “hold still.”

“But d’it hurts!” Much yelped, as Robin tipped his head back and peered at his manservant’s bloody nose.

“Honestly, Much, what were you doing that meant that you didn’t see that tree?!”

“I think he was a bit distracted, mate,” Allan was smirking on the sidelines.

“D’ut up,” Much slurred, miserably.

“Distracted by what?!” Robin demanded, “I was just trying to wash under that waterfall!”

“Yeah, speaking of which,” Allan threw a shirt at him, “put something on, Robin, for god’s sake.”

Much spluttered, as crimson as the blood still dribbling from his nose.
