'Demons' needs a fandom.

And we've only got six weeks to establish one, so let's get on with it!
1. LOOK! It's LukeScarlet Rutherford! Or - the lead character is the same guy who played Will Scarlet's little brother in the second series of RH, is pretty, and spends a lot of time with his shirt off.

Luke is the last of the Van Helsings, apparently - and is essentially a male, English, gratuitously shirtless version of Buffy. And that's his best friend/conveniantly placed love-interest,Sophia Ruby.
2. Yay! More bad CGI!

(Oh, come on - that little demon guy was almost CUTE).
3. Surprisingly awesome costumes.

Mackenzie Crook also kicked ASS in this role. ^_^
4. Older American mentor who believes in SMITING (and makes omelettes)

Rupert Galvin, Luke's god father, who tells demons that he's going to 'smite thee' and also makes omelettes.
5. Hot Blind Psychic Who PWNS

Mina Harker, descendant of Van Helsing's assitant, blind, psychic, a dab hand at the piano, apparently half-vampire (according to her profile on the official website - but we've not touched on that in the show yet) and currator of The Stacks (the big damn library o'supernatural stuff in the second last cap there). And, of course, very, very pretty.
6. Oh, look! A familiar name!

These are the people wot dun Hex, Sugar Rush and - wait for it - Merlin. They know how to make good TV, don't they?

If you wanna watch this and you aren't in the UK, thus can't access ITV's catchup site (or you just can't be arsed with ITV's catchup site - which, frankly, is an utter hole compaired to BBC's iPlayer), leave a comment and I'll PM you a link or two.
Come on, people! It's something to while away the time until we get Merlin back, at least, right?
